Twins: a rare species to singletons

Two pairs of mysterious eyes constantly staring at us, while we are trying to avoid the contact! What is it they want? Moreover they are girls so what on earth they want? Baffled Surbhi asked. They replied ‘sorry are you both twins?’ With a beaming smile on our face, chest double the actual size, we proudly synchronized ‘oh yes’. But little did we know what was lined for us; a whole train of awkward and funny questions. To which we mostly replied politely. What’s more amusing is how they debated on our answers with each other and how we were compelled to sit there only to get interrogated.
Its not only us, we are sure it happens with all the twins.

Well then let us give you a glimpse of twiny world and how do we survive to such questions.. Here comes …

QUESTIONS:
1. Does your birthday come on the same day?
No, our mother did not want to squeeze two treats into one, so she waited to deliver one of us till the next day. Obviously, it’s on the same day!!

2. If I kick her will she feel the pain too? (And someone actually tried this :/)
Umm… we are sure our vessels, muscles and skin are not attached

3. Do u have your own language?
Yeah Hindi and English were quite difficult to understand. 😀

4. Can u read each other’s thoughts?
Not exactly but we do really know what the other person is thinking so end up completing each other’s sentences. This actually make our bond special than any other.

5. who’s the elder one?
Shweta is.

6. Are your elder sisters twins too? (The most awkward question)
Yes, we have elder sisters, but why on earth they’ll be twins?

7. If one is sick will the other get sick too?
You tell me how would one survive seeing the other enjoying perfect health, so we make sure both of us get ill. 😛 Damn Noh..

8. Do you share boyfriends?
Yeah why not, we share everything; mother, father, sister, and friends so why not boyfriends. Lol no we don’t! 😀

9. Will you marry twins?
Biggest fantasy till date. 😀

10. Do you switch your classes?
Hell yeah, why wouldn’t we. Who else is this lucky?

11. Do u wear same clothes?
Not as much as we used to when kids.

12. Do u play pranks on others?
Yeah our favorite pass time

13. Do people compare you?
Yeah and we are sure you are also doing this back in your mind right now.

So these are few of the questions and as practice makes a (wo)man perfect we are prepared for many more. And to conclude we are not “aliens” just two people with identical features, identical demeanor, same tastes, same habits, and same voice. See we are totally normal. 😀
